Earth and Sky Retreat Day

Would you like to connect with the grounding and supportive wisdom of the Earth and the expansive and infinite nature of the Sky?

The Earth and the Sky have been places of home, inspiration, and observation for thousands of years. People have always connected with nature, the elements and what is above and beyond for support, transformation, and a greater perspective of life.

In this retreat day, we explore the aspects of Earth and Sky through some of the spiritual traditions such as Buddhism, Daoism, and indigenous cultures.

There will be opportunities for contemplation, discussion, for embodiment and for integration. We will utilise movement, stillness, time in silence, and time for exploring the senses. If the weather allows, the retreat will use the beautiful outdoor zen garden and natural environment, as well as the spacious and light-filled yoga shala.

What the day will include:
• 🌱 Grounding exercise to connect with the presence and wisdom of the Earth
• 👁️ Dzogchen Sky Gazing Meditation to experience our spacious and luminous nature
• 🕉️ Yoga flows to embody the experience of Earth and Sky
• ☯️ Qigong practice to cultivate the energies of Earth and Sky
• 🧘 Wisdom Teachings and exploring how we can integrate this into our lives
• 🎶 Sound Bath, with Tibetan bowls, gong, ocean drum, shamanic drum and chimes
• ✍️ Journaling, reflection, and community sharing

The Earth and Sky Retreat Day will take place at the Well House Yoga Space, in a beautiful countryside setting just 7 miles west of Harrogate. It is suitable for everyone, from beginners to experienced practitioners. All you need is an open and curious mind ready to explore how these practices may help you flourish in your life.
